Having enjoyed continual growth, we are now seeking an experienced 1st Class Welder to hit the ground running in our fast paced manufacturing facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast.
About the Role
As a Welder, you will be part of a small hardworking team to fabricate and finish sub-assemblies for radiators, marine heat exchangers and fabricated components. You will lead by example and take pride in your work.
You will be responsible for:
* Producing high quality welding finish on copper, brass & steel components
* Following production schedule to ensure DIFOT targets are met
* Use of power tools, pneumatic tools, saws, hand tools and welders
* Read and interpreting engineering drawings
* Sheetmetal fabrication experience
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Well established MIG and TIG welding skills
* Pride yourself on attention to detail
* Possess a trade qualification in Fabrication
* Have keen attention to detail
* Experience with various grades of copper, stainless steel and brass
* Ability to carry out other metal fabrication duties such as marking out, grinding, sanding, sand blasting and drilling.
