About the Role

Come work at Calvary Adelaide Hospital, South Australia's largest private hospital.

Experienced Chef with experience in a busy commercial kitchen required. Rotational shifts, providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Working in a team to provide nutrition for 250+ per day. You will be working under pressure to get the job done but you will be doing a job that matters.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparation and production of food as required.
* Prepare and present "special" menu items showing variety and flair.
* Review stock and ensure rotation and minimum wastage.
* Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Ensure all equipment is cleaned and operational during your shift.
* Undertake food safety supervisor training.
* Place stock orders on a rotational basis.

What You Bring

* Experience as a Commis chef within a fast‐paced, dynamic environment.
* A certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
* Advanced communication skills.
* Ability to maintain high and consistent standards.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent organisational skills and grooming standards.
* Understanding of HACCP principles and practices.
* Ability to multitask and react to a dynamic environment.
* Available to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission‐based organisation.
