About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing providore business starting at 3.00am Monday - Friday. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves leading a team, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
You'll manage warehouse operations, coordinate delivery runs, pick and pack orders, and personally handle some deliveries using a company-provided van. You'll also onboard new customers, solve problems on the go, and ensure everything runs smoothly from the Melbourne Markets warehouse, based in Epping
Core responsibilities
* Supervise, plan and coordinate daily warehouse operations and schedule and prepare runs for 5 subcontractor drivers.
* Plan and set up delivery runs for maximum efficiency.
* Pick and pack orders ready for distribution.
* Deliver orders and build strong customer relationships.
* Maintain inventory accuracy and compliance with food safety standards.
* Complete ordering through customer portals and prepare reports.
* Lead by example with a positive, can-do attitude.
Skills & qualifications
* Minimum 3 years' experience in logistics or warehouse supervision (food industry preferred)
* Proven experience in people management and logistics supervision.
* Highly organized, reliable, and able to start at 3:00 am Monday to Friday.
* Strong communication skills across all levels.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Forklift license and valid driver's license.
* Customer-first mindset and great work ethic.
