We're seeking a proactive Traffic Manager to lead and manage traffic management across an exciting major project. You'll handle everything from planning and sourcing materials for Traffic Control Plans to overseeing traffic operations, ensuring safety, quality, and community standards are met.
You'll prepare and maintain traffic management plans, coordinate approvals and audits, and respond to incidents quickly and efficiently. Working closely with clients, authorities, and the community, you'll ensure smooth, safe traffic flow while supporting construction teams and managing subcontractors.
* Plan and organise the procurement of materials like signage and barriers to support traffic control plans.
* Manage and coordinate traffic management activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
* Develop, implement, and maintain Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Vehicle Movement Plans (VMPs), including securing necessary permits.
* Perform regular audits and inspections to spot and fix any issues with traffic control setups.
Requirements
The successful applicant will have:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
* Significant experience in civil construction traffic management, preferably in a principal contractor environment.
* Formal qualifications relating to traffic management design, implementation, and audit.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A Current C-Class Driver's License.
