In the next phase of its evolution the Board is seeking to appoint an exceptional and experienced executive as the Chief Executive Officer. The organisation has a strong culture built on engineering excellence and innovation and there is a desire to now accelerate to realisation of the business’ full potential through profitable growth, innovation and transformational change. Key priorities include aligning the structure and roles to the growth and transformation strategy, creating accountability and performance standards, developing an aligned and world class high performing leadership team, improving profitability, driving sales growth, streamlining and improving manufacturing operations, driving culture and behavioural change, oversight of development of innovative product improvement through automaton, improving business capability, leveraging technology to strengthen commercial outcomes and developing a road map for the future to support the organisation’s aspirations. To be successful as the Chief Executive Officer you will have significant experience in leading large and complex international manufacturing oriented businesses such as heavy and complex engineering, mining equipment, construction and earthmoving machinery, or a related industry through building a strong culture across a globally distributed business, proven track record in building efficient systems, go to market models and pricing protocols in a growth environment, experience in improving and optimising bespoke low volume high value manufacturing, considerable experience in transformational and cultural change and the ability to credible drive accountability and performance. Tertiary engineering or similar qualifications will be highly regarded.
