Responsibilities
- Contribute to development of Ruby on Rails applications for challenging and meaningful projects.
- Take ownership of your work and ensure estimates and processes meet agreed expectations.
- Identify Bluelight\'s clients\' goals and deliver commitments in collaboration with the team.
- Follow best practices and continuously improve development processes.
- Work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
- Maintain a positive mindset and a strong can-do attitude.
- Demonstrate forensic attention to detail and a commitment to learning and improving skills.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience working with Ruby on Rails.
- 3+ years of qualified experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
- Professional experience with Gen-AI is strongly preferred.
- Ability to identify with clients\' goals and deliver on commitments.
- Understanding of best practices and a commitment to following them.
- Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
