Work Location: Opportunities are FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing or Kununurra to our Pilbara WA mine sites.
Rosters available: Our rosters range from 7D7R, 8D6R OR 14D14R depending on site and department.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver safe, high-quality planned and reactive maintenance of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning assets
* Maintain assets across Fortescue's site and camp facilities - including camps, offices, workshops, laboratories, fuel storage facilities and waste/potable water treatment plants
Qualifications and Experience
* Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Refrigeration/Air Conditioning) - dual traded Electricians will also be highly regarded
* Current West Australian Electrical License
* Senior first aid / CPR
* Current Refrigerant Handling License
* Previous fault finding and repair experience on air conditioning split systems, closed‑circuit water chillers, ice machines etc
* Effective communication & interpersonal skills, including report writing
* Ability to time manage, organise & prioritise workload
* Competent in reading technical manuals/plans/schematics
* WA Class C Driver's Licence
