Business Support & Comms Coordinator
Destination Southernis seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support & Comms Coordinator to join our team.
The Business Support & Comms Coordinator role will coordinate communications and provide administrative and operational support across the organisation. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistent, timely and professional communications across Destination Southern's core channels, including eNews, LinkedIn and website updates, while supporting the day-to-day operations of a small, regionally-based team.
With a background in communications, administration or a related field, the successful applicant will bring strong attention to detail, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. An interest in the visitor economy and regional tourism will be highly regarded.
About the role
Casual position – approximately 32 hours per month (typically across 2 days per week) |Location – Southern NSW (flexible / hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinating monthly industry eNews (content collation, formatting and distribution)
* Managing LinkedIn content scheduling and posting
* Updating website content, including news, events, grants and resources
* Supporting delivery of communications in line with agreed schedules and content planning cycles
* Maintaining stakeholder databases and CRM systems
* Providing administrative support to the General Manager and team
* Assisting with the coordination of meetings, events, workshops and industry programs
This role is suited to someone who enjoys working across communications and administration and can provide structure, consistency and a proactive approach in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
