Job Overview
A varied and challenging role successful applicants will undertake a range of labouring, plant operation and truck driving tasks as part of a multi‑disciplined team.
Competitive annual salary commencing at $70,213, plus up to 14% superannuation.

Responsibilities
* Demonstrated ability to undertake a broad range of tasks including operation of plant, vehicles, equipment and tools in a competent and proficient manner.
* Demonstrated physical agility and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting and bending.
* Maintain harmony within a team and foster good working relationships with all council employees and members of the public.
* Work under general supervision.
* Operate and maintain light plant and equipment to deliver council's work program.
* Embrace a mobile technical workforce through the use of technology such as mobile and tablet devices to enhance field operations.
* Contribute to the development of procedures in relation to area of work.
* Work autonomously, cohesively and collaboratively with other council teams.
* Perform labouring tasks safely, efficiently and on schedule to meet quality standards.
* Identify new ways to improve work practices in accordance with council's continuous improvement commitment.
Requirements
* Queensland 'C' Class driver's licence that is current and maintained.
* General construction induction (white/blue card).
* Physical ability to lift, bend and perform labouring tasks.
