About the Role
This exciting opportunity exists to work with a team providing culturally competent allied health, aged care, mental health, and wellbeing services in remote and rural Queensland communities.
The Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive foot assessments and treatments for patients with various conditions, including diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and peripheral vascular disease.
* Deliver patient education on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and disability management.
* Collaborate with specialists to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Requirements
* A current registration with AHPRA or eligibility to obtain registration.
* A relevant Podiatry qualification.
* A current unrestricted 'C' class Australian Driver's License.
* The right to live and work in Australia.
Work Environment
Occasional overnight stays are required for outreach travel to surrounding communities. Work-related travel expenses are subsidised.
