Duties
You will be working in the most advanced and modern shipbuilding hub in Australia, constructing world-class naval vessels as part of the Destroyer Capability Enhancement Program. Trade assistants are responsible for assisting trades in activities related to piping within the Osborne Naval Shipyard.
* Assisting Trades in a production environment
* Confined space watching and confined space general work
* Spotting where required for E.g. hot work, EWP
* General house keeping
* Using basic hand tools E.g. spanners, grinders, drills, pallet jacks

About YOU
* Demonstrated experience in a similar environment
* Forklift Licence Desirable
* Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment.
* Strong time keeping abilities.
* Excellent communication.
* Must be eligible to apply for Australian Defence Security clearance
