The Commodities and Global Markets Talent Consultant is a responsible for supporting best practice talent management across the group globally. Reporting to the Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) Global Talent Lead, you will work closely with the business HR team to deliver on talent initiatives which support business activity. This is an exciting role for someone looking to work in a global role to deepen their skills in the talent space, managing a fast paced and complex talent process alongside wider cultural change activity.
**Objectives of the role**:
- Partnering with Global Talent Lead and People & Culture Partners provide support through the annual talent cycle, including supporting talent reviews, succession planning discussions, our annual promotion process and employee survey analysis
- Working with the wider People and Culture and central talent teams to implement global and group specific initiatives that align to the People and Culture Strategy, particularly in the areas of Performance, Leadership and Engagement
- Global role with a focus on providing consistency to Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) processes and connectivity across teams.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Working with Talent Lead to support Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) Talent strategy to ensure global consistency and creation of core materials for leaders and People & Culture Partners
- Central co-ordination of the global year-end talent process
- Provide central support for the global Director promotion process
- Facilitate the administration of global surveys (e.g. Voice survey)
- Providing survey follow up/action planning (i.e. creation of core materials and resources) globally
- Champion and support with the execution of cultural change initiatives for CGM globally
- Support co-ordination of new talent mapping and succession planning initiatives throughout the performance year
- HR analytics support. Respond to ad hoc talent data requests, as well as responsibility for inputting into monthly and annual reporting requirements
- Management and updating of the CGM talent collateral and content
**About the individual**:
- Understanding of financial services, ideally through direct experience gained in the industry and a genuine interest in the markets
- Strong relationship and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to prioritise multiple tasks to meet project deliverables.
- A solid track record of driving cultural change in a fast paced, complex organisation
- Be able to balance best practice learning principles with pragmatic and commercial solutions
- Be comfortable working in a matrixed team with a reporting line out of region
- Enjoy getting into the detail and execution of BAU as well as appetite to be involved in the execution of bigger ideas
- Be bold, seeing challenges as opportunities that can be overcome as a team
- Have a strong team player mindset and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Have exceptional communication skills
