With a national footprint and a reputation for innovation, the business is continuing to grow and modernise its operations.This role offers work from home flexibility 2 days per week with start and finish times flexible based on school pick-ups and drop offs.The RoleThis is a standalone opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys taking ownership of the end-to-end function rather than managing a team.
You will be the go-to specialist for payroll compliance, systems, and reporting, ensuring smooth delivery across a varied and complex workforce.Key responsibilities include:Full end-to-end processing of a multi-entity payroll (weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles).
Interpreting multiple EBAs and Awards.Maintaining payroll compliance with legislation, tax, and superannuation requirements.Managing system improvements and process efficiencies.Preparing payroll reporting and liaising with finance and HR stakeholders.Being the subject matter expert for all payroll-related queries.About YouProven experience in a payroll manager, payroll lead, or senior payroll officer role.Hands-on and detail oriented - you enjoy running the process yourself.Strong understanding of EBAs, Awards, PAYG, superannuation, and relevant legislation.Comfortable working with payroll/HRIS systems (Chris21, ADP, or similar).
