We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Facilities
Manager to oversee a large, multi-site portfolio across NSW. This is not a
desk-based role – we are looking for a well-rounded operator who can
confidently engage with senior leadership while also speaking the language of
trades and technicians on site. You will be responsible for delivering
high-quality Facilities Management services across approximately 60–65 sites,
ensuring operational excellence, compliance, safety, and financial performance.
Regular travel across your portfolio is required, with each
site visited at least twice annually. You will manage one of the following
geographic portfolios:
* NSW South: Greater Sydney South through to ACT,
inland to Wagga and south to Cooma
* NSW North: Central Coast and Newcastle through
to Grafton, inland to Glen Innes and Gilgandra, plus 5 NT sites and 8 across
Townsville/Cairns

The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage the
day-to-day Facilities Management function across your portfolio, delivering
against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA's), KPI's, and a significant
operating budget.
You will oversee both:
* Hard services – HVAC, electrical,
plumbing, essential services, and general building systems
* Soft services – cleaning, grounds
maintenance, and general site upkeep
This role requires a balance of strategic oversight,
financial discipline, and hands-on problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver SLA/KPI performance across a multi-site
portfolio
* Manage operating budget, forecasting, and
financial reporting
* Oversee contractors, service agreements, and
preventative maintenance
* Ensure sites meet all relevant health, safety,
and compliance obligations
* Manage contractor inductions and compliance
requirements
* Conduct risk assessments and implement
corrective actions
* Build strong relationships with site leaders and
internal stakeholders
* Liaise with contractors and service providers
* Communicate effectively from executive level
through to trades
* Identify
efficiencies and drive continuous improvement
About You
You are a commercially minded Facilities professional with
proven experience managing large, multi-site portfolios. You will bring:
* Demonstrated experience delivering SLA's and
KPI's
* Strong technical understanding of building
services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, general building)
* Experience managing contractors and multiple
service providers
* Budget management experience
* Strong knowledge of WHS and compliance
frameworks
* Excellent communication and stakeholder
management skills
* Current Driver's Licence and own vehicle
Trade qualifications are not essential; however, strong
technical Facilities Management knowledge is required.
