CSR Design Engineer (Rail Experience Essential)
Hitch Group Pty Ltd is expanding our team to deliver major rail infrastructure projects across Melbourne's MTM network. We're seeking a talented, hands-on CSR Design Engineer passionate about building safer, more efficient rail corridors through expert Combined Services Route (CSR) design.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead rail-based CSR design & coordination in the rail corridor
* Ensure full CSR compliance, documentation, and approvals (MTM standards)
* Manage multidisciplinary interface coordination (track, signalling, civil, electrical)
* Deliver timely designs to support rail shutdown programs and project milestonesInterpret and produce CSR drawings, designs, and SAPs
* Collaborate on Safety in Design, risk assessments, and constructability reviews
What we're Looking For
* Strong knowledge of MTM CSR design requirements and compliance processes
* MTM Design Competencies (or ability to obtain quickly)
* Ability to design/interpret railway CSR drawings, designs, and SAPs
* 5+ years in rail/civil design services
* Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (or related field)
* Experience with MTM, V/Line, ARTC projects highly regarded
* Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills
* Thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
