Therefore, due to winning a new major contract, we are excited to invite applications for full time shift work Live Run Support / Data Coordinators to join the team at our Bendigo Head Office.
As our trains operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, this position will provide full time hours, on a rotating shift roster basis.
This role is the perfect introduction to the Rail Industry and will provide the successful applicant with a great opportunity to be part of a dedicated and dynamic team.
Duties involved
* To capture and manage live data of the train operations to ensure the organisation meets all relevant legislative and operational requirements.
* To support the Live Run Coordinator as required to allow them to efficiently manage the train operations to plan.
* Data entry of live data into various Operating Systems and Databases.
* Submit and communication of live data to relevant parties and stakeholders.
* Liaise with train drivers and management to ensure compliance to regulations.
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following
* Passion for Trains and the Rail Industry not essential, but highly regarded.
* Available to work on a rotating shift roster basis including a variety of 12 hour day and night shifts.
* Past experience working in a fast paced environment.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Ability to maintain a high level of concentration for extended periods.
* Database experience, with a strong knowledge of Excel.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Clear, confident and concise written and verbal communication skills.
* Professional and reliable work ethic.
* Current National Police Check or willingness to provide one.
