Mechanical Coordinator Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating maintenance services in line with business processes and schedule/cost objectives while maintaining compliance with Contract HSSE, Quality and Employee Relations Management Plans.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery of Mechanical maintenance services ensuring alignment with business objectives;
Developing work packs and ensuring materials meet execution timeframes;
Working with schedulers to assist with schedule loading and advise on criticality of work scope;
Arranging vendor mobilisation and ensuring relevant competencies are up to date;
Maintaining equipment BOM via cataloguing and MOC process;
Identifying work packages and liaising with other discipline planners/coordinators to maximise maintenance efficiency and minimise equipment downtime;
Ensuring maintenance plans and MWIs are fit for purpose and liaising with relevant discipline engineers;
Liaising with Engineering, Vendors and Suppliers as required;
Attending site for pre-scoping, walk down of scope and kick-off/start of major campaigns;
Completing After-Action Reviews (AAR) on campaign and producing lessons learned;
Raising MOC/TSR as needed to update systems, processes and SAP data;
Monitoring, reviewing and keeping client systems up to date;
Demonstrating commitment to and driving a culture of strict compliance with Life Saving Rules;
Participating in safety interactions and field leadership;
Practically implementing continuous improvement and lessons learned programs;
Monitoring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements;

Requirements and Qualifications
• Mechanical Trade or Engineering Qualification;
• Extensive working knowledge and experience with SAP PM;
• Experience with Low-Speed Rotating equipment, pumps and engines;
• Oil & Gas experience, preferably offshore;
• Experience throughout work life cycle, building work packs, planning/scheduling and site execution;
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate across all levels;
