About the Position
An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a solicitor to join a successful and longstanding law firm. Reporting directly to the Principal and Practice Manager, you will work on a diverse range of Criminal, Family and Property Law matters. Working with a range of clients from diverse backgrounds, this role will challenge the successful applicant to provide high quality advice for clients. You will receive extensive in-house mentoring in a workplace which strives to create a supportive workplace climate and culture.
Key Selection Criteria
* 2 years PAE in litigation (preferably exposure to litigation, trust sub-divisions and property dispute resolution) and hold a current practicing certificate;
* Sound knowledge of property law is essential;
* Court appearance experience;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a part of a team;
* Sound computer skills and ability to type own reports, court documents, letters and undertake data entry;
* Proven conflict resolution skills;
* Strong analytical and research skills;
* High attention to detail and excellent drafting skills; and
* Effective time management and organisational skills.
