🔎 The OpportunityAs the Content Management & SAP Enable Now (SEN) Specialist, you will support Defence’s ERP Business Operations Centre (BOC) to mature and institutionalise its learning and knowledge management capability.This is not a simple training support role.It is a strategic sustainment and governance uplift role focused on:📚 Rationalising and governing enterprise ERP learning assets🏛️ Designing fit-for-purpose content governance models🛠️ Establishing a sustainable SAP Enable Now (SEN) operating framework📊 Building scalable learning analytics and reporting capability🔄 Developing repeatable transition frameworks for future ERP tranches🧠 Uplifting internal SEN capability within the BOC Training TeamThis is a SFIA Level 5 Key Position, requiring autonomy, structured governance design capability, and strong stakeholder engagement across a complex Defence enterprise environment.
🧩 Key Responsibilities1️⃣ Content Governance & Library EstablishmentYou will undertake a comprehensive review and rationalisation of existing ERP learning content libraries and repositories.Key activities include:🔍 Reviewing, validating, and rationalising existing content libraries🗂️ Identifying duplication, outdated materials, and gaps🏛️ Designing governance structures aligned to Defence standards and ERP ways of working👤 Defining ownership, custodianship, and approval pathways🧾 Documenting sustainment processes for long-term maintainability🔮 Ensuring governance frameworks remain scalable for future ERP tranchesThe objective is to establish a structured, defensible, and repeatable governance model that supports ERP sustainment without creating unnecessary administrative burden.
2️⃣ SAP Enable Now (SEN) ProfessionalisationAs the SAP Enable Now SME, you will help professionalise SEN usage across the ERP BOC.Responsibilities include:🛠️ Defining and documenting SEN-related business processes📘 Establishing consistent content standards and development practices🎓 Delivering informal virtual training and enablement sessions🤝 Providing knowledge transfer to build internal capability🧩 Supporting resolution of day-to-day SEN queries📈 Identifying opportunities to improve adoption and consistencyThe goal is to move SEN capability from reliance on individuals to a structured, embedded, and sustainable operating model within Defence.
3️⃣ Reporting & Learning AnalyticsYou will uplift reporting capability using available SEN data and related ERP metrics.This includes:📊 Designing scalable usage reporting frameworks🗂️ Creating reusable templates for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting📈 Providing actionable insights on content utilisation and adoption trends🔎 Supporting Value Chains to assess learning effectiveness📉 Enabling better visibility of training outcomes and change readinessReporting must move beyond static data extraction and provide meaningful insights that inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
4️⃣ Transition Framework DevelopmentAs ERP transitions from Program delivery into sustainment, you will design a reusable framework to support structured handovers.This includes development of:🧱 A repeatable Transition Plan template📋 Structured registers covering:Storage locationsAccess requirementsTools utilisedRequired skill setsCustodianship and ownershipAuthority and amendment responsibilities🔄 Clear accountability and approval pathwaysThe framework must be repeatable and scalable to support future ERP tranche transitions.
5️⃣ Knowledge Asset RationalisationYou will support rationalisation and lifecycle management of learning artefacts, including:📚 Cataloguing SAP Companion content (purpose, lifecycle, review cycles)🔁 Scoping and migrating System Step Library (SSL) content into appropriate repositories (likely SEN)🏷️ Improving metadata alignment and findability🔄 Establishing review cycles and lifecycle controlsThe objective is to reduce duplication, improve discoverability, and ensure content remains current and authoritative.
6️⃣ Curriculum UpliftYou will review and uplift the ERP curriculum to align with best practice learning design standards.Activities include:🎯 Aligning curriculum to industry best practice frameworks📘 Ensuring learning artefacts are outcome-focused and consistent🧭 Removing inconsistencies and duplication📈 Improving clarity of learning pathwaysThis uplift ensures ERP learning remains structured, professional, and aligned to operational outcomes.
