The successful applicant should understand the Years 7 to 10 WA Curriculum – Visual Arts and the WA Certificate of Education (WACE) Visual Arts and Design courses, and should be able to develop and deliver programs in these areas.
Experience in industry and/or delivering Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs, including Certificate III in Visual Arts, and holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be desirable but not essential.The successful applicant should be able to teach across Arts learning areas, including Visual Arts, Design Graphics and Photography.
They should be proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud and be able to integrate technology into curriculum delivery to develop 21st-century skills.
It would be valued if you contribute to school-wide events that celebrate creativity and be student- and relationship-focused, enthusiastic, and innovative with the ability to provide engaging, relevant, and meaningful experiences while catering for diverse student learning needs.The successful applicant should be able to work collaboratively within a team and will have the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our school community.
