Key Role in Planning and Merchandising

This role involves delivering an assortment and implementation of specialised support across the portfolio of brands executed in the ANZ region.

This includes leading local inventory-related analytics and interpretation, managing the replenishment approach, and providing local planning support on accessories and contact lenses across all banners. Our specialist provides insight into supporting systems such as SAP, proposes business efficiency improvements, and performs investigations on cases of issues, serving as a key liaison with our Master Data teams both globally and locally.


Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct store segmentation, including annual reviews, setting local market criteria, holding operations meetings, and addressing ad hoc requests.
* Oversee the product lifecycle, including best practice clearance strategies for sales and outlets.
* Deliver space optimization solutions, ensuring compliance with local rules, alignment with global store facings strategy, integrating new stores, and supporting visual merchandising principles.
* Provide efficient inventory management including replenishment alignment and frequency and supporting franchise partner inventory management.


Requirements for Success:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Retail, Finance, Marketing or Store Operations.
2. 3 years' work experience in Retail Planning, Buying or Merchandising.
3. Working knowledge of Planning, Buying and Merchandising principles.
4. Proficient computer skills - Excel, Merchandising and Planning systems.
5. Finance principles - able to communicate financial plans and results from a merchandise perspective.
6. Analytical and mathematical skills - able to extract conclusions from available data.
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
8. Demonstrated experience using SAP & Business Insights.
