Job Title: Learning and Development Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to join our hotel as a Learning and Development Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating learning and development activities across the hotel.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, business, or a related field, with experience in learning and development preferably within hotels. They will also have strong facilitation skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach.
The Learning and Development Specialist will work closely with Department Heads to ensure that all employees are trained and developed to meet the hotel's objectives. This includes supporting the recruitment process, coordinating training sessions, and organizing employee engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Director of Human Resources in implementing the hotel's learning and development strategy.
* Work with Department Heads to develop and deliver training programs for employees.
* Coordinate induction and orientation programs for new team members.
* Organize employee engagement activities such as town halls, team-building activities, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives.
* Contribute to fostering a culture that aligns with the hotel's values and mission.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, L&D, or a related discipline.
* Experience in learning and development, preferably within hotels.
* Familiarity with digital learning tools or learning management systems.
* Strong facilitation skills and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
