OverviewBased in Ferntree Gully, Melbourne, State Wide Turf Services are looking for reliable machinery operators to join our Victorian based turf renovation team.Statewide Turf Services is one of Victoria's leading sports turf renovation companies servicing Local Government, Racecourses, Private Schools, Golf Courses and open spaces.
We are consistently contracting to the state's leading Racing Clubs and well respected sporting bodies.We are a WA born turf renovation company that has been based in Victoria for 6yrs.
Boasting a fleet of 21 tractors and 18 trucks across both states, the successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of HR trucks and tractor driven renovation equipment.
Reporting directly to the Victorian State Manager, you will be responsible for operating tractors with implements such as toro corers, scarifiers, amazone sweepers and koro field top-makers.
We also have a fleet of spray equipment and would encourage the successful candidates to become qualified in chemical applications.Applicants must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, follow safety procedures and work flexible hours.
General working hours are Monday to Friday.
This role would suit someone from a stadium or golf course background looking at expanding their knowledge and joining a growing business with a future desire to fulfill a management role.
It is a great chance to work throughout Melbourne and Victoria on a range of surfaces.
