**About the role**: 
We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an Airport Reporting and Maintenance Officer to join our growing airport team. This role is responsible for the day to day reporting and maintenance duties at the Busselton Margaret River Airport in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements and City operational practices.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Complete aerodrome serviceability and wildlife management inspections in accordance with CASA regulations. 
- Carry out all Aerodrome maintenance activities, both landside and airside to a high quality standard. 
- Conduct aircraft refuelling and ensure aviation fuel stocks and services are maintained and delivered in accordance with relevant policy and procedures. 
- Report on a regular basis progress updates, issues, hazards or incidents related to the airport and the operations of the airport.
**What you will need to succeed**: 
You will align with our values and have the following skills and experience:
- Successful completion of Aerodrome Reporting Officers and Works Safety Officer Course and/or competency standards (or Australian recognised equivalent) and experience as an ARO. 
- Successful completion of Aircraft Radio Operator Certificate or willingness to obtain. 
- Sound knowledge of legislative requirements relating to Aerodromes/Airports including Aerodrome Emergency Procedures and Aviation Security. 
- Willingness to undertake pre-employment drug and alcohol screening in accordance with CASA regulations and Council's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP). 
- Have the ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
