We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated researcher to contribute to research projects developing innovative methods for provable network security. The successful applicant will work on next-generation network security technologies using higher-order graph-based abstractions to model networks and network security problems.
As a key member of our research group, you will have opportunities to collaborate with experts from multiple schools within the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology, and develop your skills in system and network security, Python, NetworkX, Web development, IP networking, network emulation, virtualisation, and open-source software.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Have or be near completion of a PhD in a related field;
* Be eligible to hold a Commonwealth of Australia Department of Defence security clearance;
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a professional and collegial manner, and to build rapport with all levels of academic and professional staff within a diverse and inclusive work environment;
