The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Full‑Time Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high‑quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to the continued success of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook meals to a consistently high standard across bistro, functions, and specials.
* Ensure all food preparation and storage meets food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain an efficient and clean work environment.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and receiving deliveries.
* Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even during busy periods.
* Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
About You
* Trade‑qualified Chef with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
* Ability to work across various kitchen sections.
* Knowledge of modern Australian pub and bistro‑style cuisine.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP procedures.
* Willingness to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* A team player with a strong work ethic and passion for quality food.
