What's the role on offer?

The role is responsible for actively complying with all company safety, security, and procedural requirements while performing maintenance activities under the direction of a supervising LAME. This includes following documented processes, maintaining a safe working environment, and ensuring all tasks are completed to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer plays an essential role in supporting safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft maintenance operations. The position works under the direction of a supervising LAME and contributes to the overall airworthiness and reliability of the fleet.

* Carry out all assigned maintenance duties safely and efficiently, following approved procedures and standards.

* Perform tasks in accordance with the Alliance AMO Exposition and all relevant engineering work instructions.

* Complete duties as directed by the supervising LAME, Line Maintenance Manager (LMM), or Senior Base Engineer (SBE).

* Use only current, approved maintenance data when performing maintenance activities.

* Maintain clear communication with the supervising LAME and promptly report any defects or concerns.

* Undertake aircraft ground handling duties when required.

* Follow all requirements outlined in the Company Safety Manual and Workplace Health and Safety Manual.

* Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard‑free work environment at all times.

* Accurately record all work performed in accordance with engineering documentation requirements.

* Comply with all company and departmental training, procedures, and competency requirements.

* Ensure all tasks completed are captured in the individual competency record.

* Handle parts, materials, and components in accordance with engineering instructions to ensure compliance and traceability.

* Maintain correct control, use, and accountability of personal and company tooling.

* Record all work performed accurately and on time in the AMO electronic timesheet system.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer who brings a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship. You’ll thrive in this role if you take pride in doing things right the first time, communicate well with others, and can confidently carry out tasks under the direction of a supervising LAME.

* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (desired

* Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

* Willingness to follow instructions and complete tasks to required standards.

* Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the maintenance team.

* Initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving and daily tasks.

* Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, maintaining productivity and situational awareness in both settings.

* Alignment with Alliance values, especially safety and performance.

* Relevant experience and demonstrated competence performing AME duties within an Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO), ideally in an environment similar to Alliance Airlines.
