SAPOL Crime Service provides support in the investigation of crime which by reason of seriousness, public expectation, expertise or resource requirements is beyond the capacity of Local Service Areas and Districts.
Public Protection Branch (PPB) provides centralized management, coordination and support for SAPOL's response to family and domestic violence; sexual crime investigation (contact and online offences); vulnerable victims (including elderly abuse); child sex offenders; child protection; multi‑agency protection initiatives; and high‑risk offender management.
Role Overview
The Administration Coordinator (ASO3) is accountable to the Officer in Charge of the Public Protection Branch and is a multi‑skilled position that plays an integral role in the day‑to‑day operation of the branch. The incumbent will be proactive, use initiative and work autonomously and within a team environment.
The role is responsible for undertaking a range of business and administrative services which includes human resources administration, supply purchase, procurement and associated accounts and budget monitoring, property management and audits, report creation and engagement with members of the public, police employees and outside agencies, all of which contributes to the effective and efficient operation of the PPB.
Special Conditions
* The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
* The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
* Some out‑of‑hours work and interstate travel may be required.
* The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage programme.
Salary
ASO3 - $67,589 - $72,033 per annum.
