The Role – Heritage Officer As a Heritage Officer, you will operate both autonomously and in partnership with colleagues as you undertake research and analysis in order to develop policy and provide advice on heritage places and character areas. With your knowledge of relevant legislation and policy, you will contribute to ongoing assessment, review and implementation of heritage and character best practice, as well as other related projects. Your background may range from history, architecture, planning, built environment, or design and you will have developed relevant experience in combining these related skillsets within the heritage conservation field. Achieving quality outcomes in this role will see you collaborating effectively with internal and external partners and customers, so your effective communication and relationship management skills will be well placed.
