Nest Care Co. was created for the seasons of motherhood where everything feels a bit too much — the washing piles up, the fridge needs love, and the baby won't be put down long enough to think.
We're a Canberra-based home help and cleaning service offering more than just a standard clean. We support mothers (and families) by being an extra set of calm, capable hands in the home — without judgement, rush, or pressure.
Due to overwhelming demand, we're looking for one exceptional helper to join us.
This role is for you if:
* You are naturally caring, warm, and intuitive
* You have immaculate attention to detail — the kind that notices skirting boards, taps, corners and consistency
* You are extremely reliable and take pride in showing up when you say you will
* You understand the chaos of family life and feel comfortable around children
* You can work independently and confidently in someone's home
* You enjoy helping people feel lighter, calmer and more supported
Many of our helpers are mums themselves — you don't need to be, but you do need to understand what it feels like to be overwhelmed and unsure where to begin.
What the work looks like:
* Standard home cleaning (bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, etc.)
* Laundry support, tidying, and home resets
* Organising toys, pantries, fridges, bedrooms
* Flexible support and initiative based on what the family needs that day
* Occasionally holding or watching a baby while the caregiver showers or drinks a hot coffee
This is not a rushed, in-and-out cleaning role. It's thoughtful, human work — done properly.
Requirements:
* Previous cleaning or home help experience preferred, although full training is provided
* Excellent attention to detail and can-do warm attitude (this is non-negotiable)
* Own transport
* Current Working With Vulnerable People Card (or willingness to obtain)
