MECC Cleaner (Casual)

As a MECC Cleaner, you'll help maintain high cleaning standards across venues such as The MECC & BB Print Stadium.
Working to a roster, you'll deliver consistent, high-quality cleaning services while upholding workplace health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Availability to work evenings and weekends
* Willingness to work on a rostered and on-call basis at short notice
* Undertake cleaning duties in line with rosters and cleaning specifications
* Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness across the MECC
* Follow all WH&S procedures and safe work practices
* Use cleaning chemicals in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
* Provide professional, customer‐focused service at all times
About You
Essential
* Current Working with Children (Blue Card)
* QLD "C" Class Driver Licence
* Ability to work independently and stay motivated
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Able to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending and carrying
* Solid understanding of safe work practices and cleaning processes
* Previous cleaning experience in a commercial environment
* Experience using commercial cleaning equipment
* Good communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse range of people
