About the role
As the Store Manager, you'll lead your passionate and committed team to create a customer-driven culture in-store and work together to achieve goals along the way. Be in charge of all store operations to ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently. Mentor and develop your team to achieve success and inspire them to grow their journey with General Pants.
* Drive outcomes and results through the right skills and behaviours, self-reflection across teams and breaking actions into bite-sized steps as needed.
* Review sales and stock sell-through reports, analyse factors affecting store results, and collaborate with the Regional Manager on future actions.
* Coach others to translate reports into actionable steps to hit targets.
* Hold yourself and each team member accountable for their results.
* Mentor and coach the team to grow, celebrate strengths, address gaps with honesty, generosity, and empowerment.
* Manage workload, workflow, time management and delivery through strong accountability and clear goal setting.
* Lead and inspire the team to be proud of their contribution to the wider business strategy.
* Prioritise team wellbeing and mental health—ensure they are healthy, take time to recharge and talk about how they are feeling.
About you
* At least 2 years of management experience in a retail environment.
* A genuine love and understanding for fashion and our brands.
* The ability to confidently lead, motivate and engage your team.
* Proven experience and success in coaching and developing teams and individuals.
* A proven track record of driving and exceeding sales targets and budgets.
* Sound knowledge and proven success in retail operations including budgets, wages, rostering, visual merchandising, stock management, shrinkage, etc.
* Must have full Australian working rights.
