Here at Torrens Global Education, employability is a core part of the student experience. Our Employability Services team works at the intersection of students, academics and industry to ensure real-world learning opportunities are delivered smoothly, compliantly and with care.

We're looking for an Employability Services Coordinator to support Work Integrated Learning (WIL) administration and employability operations. A perfect balance for a candidate with experience in administration, customer services and recruitment or career services, who enjoys structured, process-driven work, high-volume coordination and delivering excellent service outcomes.

Reporting to the Employability Services Manager, this role plays a critical coordination and student experience function across work integrated learning (placements), systems and student support.

About the role

The Employability Services Coordinator manages the end-to-end WIL Agreement administration process, while also supporting the academic team in recruitment-style activities such as application review, shortlisting and eligibility checking for student placements.

The role operates in a high-volume, SLA-driven environment and requires strong attention to detail, system confidence and a proactive, customer-first mindset.

This role has a hybrid working approach for a candidate based on one of our campus located cities (Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne). The successful candidate must have full working rights with no working hours or time length limitations.

What you'll own & deliver:

As an Employability Services Coordinator, you be working in a hybrid area between Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Administration & maintaining online employability tools and reporting. You will oversee:

1. WIL Administration & Support (approx. 50% of your time)

2. Coordinating WIL administration, liaising with students, academics & industry partners to support placement verification & approval

3. Managing WIL Agreement submissions & host organisation risk assessments in line with policy and compliance requirements.

4. Tracking students requiring placements by creating regular custom forecasts & reports.

5. Employability Operations (approx. 30% of your time)

6. Support relevant academic teams with the short-listing of students for placements and industry opportunities, reviewing applications, filtering candidates and managing eligibility checks.

7. Maintaining and managing the Careers Connect (Symplicity CSM) portal including CRM & jobs board.

8. Supporting process improvement by streamlining workflows and reducing bottlenecks.

9. Delivering a consistently high-quality, student-centred service experience.

10. Systems, Data & Reporting (approx. 15% of your time)

11. Maintaining accurate student & host organisation data & agreements in Symplicity CSM (Careers Connect).

12. Use Banner, Dynamics, Excel and Power BI to generate reports, forecasts and insights.

13. Risk & Compliance (approx. 5% of your time)

14. Coordinating the response & resolution of complaints and student issues calmly, professionally and in line with policy.

15. Liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure the risk assessment process & supervisor verification is completed to ensure students are completing safe, meaningful WIL experiences.

16. Contributing to continuous improvement across employability systems and services.

Who we're looking for:

Experience

* Background in Recruitment, HR Coordination, HR Administration or Student Services (highly regarded).

* IT skills and systems management such as Symplicity CSM (internally known as Careers Connect), Power BI, Dynamics are highly regarded.

* Excellent customer service mindset with fast, clear, responsive follow-up.

* Confident & calm approach to handling complaints and student issues professionally.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
