Liza's Place is a warm, child-centred psychology practice providing trauma-focused attachment-informed, evidence-based support to children, adolescents, and their families. About the Role
This role involves providing high-quality psychological assessment and therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults as well as supporting parents and the extended support system. Presentations may include anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural concerns, neurodevelopmental differences (including ADHD and ASD), adjustment challenges as well as trauma and attachment difficulties. This is an opportunity to work in a highly rewarding area of practice.
You will work within a supportive, collaborative environment that values clinical quality over KPIs and prioritises sustainable workloads. Full training, supervision and support is included. Early career clinicians are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Bring
* General or Clinical registration with AHPRA
* Experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents
* Knowledge of evidence-based interventions (e.g. CBT, DBT, EMDR, play-based approaches, parent support). Additional training will be provided
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practices
* Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a close and supportive team
* Experience with NDIS clients is desirable but not essential
