At Social Drinks (the positive people behind Hawkers Beer, Rover, and White Bay Brewery), we make beer worth talking about - and we’re looking for someone who’s just as passionate about sharing it.
As part of our high-performing sales team, you’ll be the face of the brand in your territory. You’ll build solid relationships with bars, pubs, and bottleshops, ensuring our beers are on the menu and in customers hands. This is a hands-on, people-first, results-driven role for someone who knows how to hustle, stay sharp in the field, and have a bit of fun along the way.
Objectives of the Role
- Make sure our brands show up properly - on taps, in fridges, on shelves, and in people’s hands.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to execute in-trade campaigns.
- Bring back insights from the trade - what’s working, what’s not, and what’s brewing out there.
- Look after your patch like it’s your own business, going above and beyond for your customers.
- Effectively service and sell to customers as per the targets and expectations set by your manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Social Drinks' brands to all accounts in your territory.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to implement campaigns that boost brand visibility, consumer engagement, and sales growth.
- Meet or exceed sales volume targets while maintaining profit margin guidelines.
- Take an entrepreneurial approach - go above and beyond to delight customers and uncover new sales opportunities.
- Provide timely and relevant market feedback to help shape business and brand strategies.
- Stay current on product knowledge, competitor activity, and industry trends to remain a trusted advisor to customers.
What we’re looking for:
- Someone who loves chatting to people, solving problems, and sealing the deal.
- A sharp operator who can think on their feet and back it up with action.
- Solid sales experience - bonus points if it’s in Beer FMCG, beverages, or hospo.
- A good handle on what makes beer great (and what makes customers come back).
- A current driver’s license and willingness to get out there - rain, hail, or happy hour.
