The Opportunity
As a Project Supervisor, you'll oversee structural mechanical and civil construction projects across surface and underground mining environments.
This hands-on leadership role requires understanding day-to-day site work and ensuring safe, timely, project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage projects from planning to completion.
* Maintain project reporting, including progress updates, cost tracking, and risk identification.
* Schedule work activities and manage daily operations on site.
* Supervise and coordinate teams of tradespeople and subcontractors.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project deliverables.
* Drive a culture of safety, adhering to protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.
* Provide regular reports on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
About You
* Ability to understand technical implications and manage contractual requirements.
* Trade or engineering qualification with management or leadership background and at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Proven ability to run construction or maintenance projects.
* Strong planning and scheduling skills.
* Confident report writing and documentation.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Commitment to safety and fostering a positive team culture.
* Ability to work independently and solve problems on the ground.
* Experience in underground mining or heavy industry preferred.
* Current driver's license and relevant certifications.
