In this role, you will support the development and enhancement of secure, cloud-based applications that underpin regulatory and reporting systems. Working within an agile, collaborative team, you will play a key role in delivering robust, user-focused digital solutions while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation across the broader technology landscape.Key Duties
o Develop and maintain Azure-based web APIs and portal applications
o Integrate multiple system components to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences
o Provide technical advice on systems development and architecture
o Apply secure coding practices to ensure robust and compliant solutions
o Conduct peer reviews of code and infrastructure
o Interpret and develop solutions aligned with detailed architecture documentation
o Ensure adherence to best practice and organisational standards
o Produce and review technical and release documentation
o Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
o Collaborate within agile, cross-functional teams
o Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing and capability uplift
Skills and Experience Required
o Minimum 5 years' experience developing secure, web-based business solutions
o Strong experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core and ASP.NET
o Proven experience developing Azure-based solutions, including API Manager, Logic Apps, Service Bus and Azure SQL
o Experience building web applications using Angular or React
o Strong understanding of secure development practices and familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM)
o Experience with automated testing tools such as xUnit, nUnit, Selenium or Playwright
o Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
o Proven ability to integrate systems, including third-party platforms such as CRM solutions
o Experience optimising and modernising legacy systems in cloud environments
o Strong experience working within agile delivery teams
o Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
