* Minimum Base Salary of $90,671.36 per annum + 12% superannuation contribution
About the role:
We are seeking a motivated HR Generalist to join our supportive and collaborative HR Team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely with the HR and Payroll team, this role provides hands-on exposure to complex and meaningful HR work across a regional and diverse organisation.

* Provide key HR administrative support to the HR team.
* Assist with HR consultations to address internal stakeholder queries.
* Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including writing job ads, sourcing candidates, phone screening, and conducting police and reference checks.
* Interpret modern awards, enterprise agreements, and individual agreements.
* Ensure accurate communication and data flow between payroll, HR, and other departments.
* Collaborate with the HR team on projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

Role Details:
Location: This position is based in Barcaldine with regional work and travel as required.
Classification Level: Level 6.1 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream A) Award - State 2017, and the Barcaldine Regional Council Certified Agreement 2025.
Wage: Minimum base salary of $90,671.36 per annum + Superannuation (up to 12%) and relevant approved allowances.
