Brunel is a global energy business partner, seeking an Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team. The role involves leading the onshore engineering team supporting FPSO operations.
Job Description
* Lead planning, oversight and coordination of the onshore engineering function to achieve safe and compliant outcomes across operations and projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing leadership, planning, and oversight to the onshore engineering team to deliver high-quality results.
* Ensuring engineering deliverables meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards through effective ownership of MOC and TQ processes.
* Driving collaboration and clarity through client and contractor engineering interfaces as the focal point for all communication.
* Overseeing engineering budget, resourcing, contract scopes, and technical compliance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Maintaining the integrity of engineering documentation, systems, and digital twin environments.
Requirements
* Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline (Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Instrumentation).
* Strong engineering leadership experience within the Oil & Gas industry, preferably with FPSO or offshore exposure.
* Proven understanding of Process Safety, MOC, TQ, Safety Cases, and digital engineering systems.
* Clear communicator with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities and team coordination experience.
* Ability to relocate to Darwin/Northern Territory.
