About Brisbane South PHN
Brisbane South PHN works in partnership with health professionals and our communities to improve the health outcomes of everyone in our region.
We work across all levels of the health system to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of health services for the Brisbane south region, including Logan City and Redland City. We are particularly focused on improving access to appropriate services for populations at risk of poorer health outcomes in our region.
We support the broad Brisbane south primary health sector by:
· providing support services so health care providers are better placed to care for patients
· supporting workforce development through training and education
· assisting health care services to implement and use digital health systems
· working with others to purchase or commission health services for priority populations
· identifying and addressing health service gaps based on careful planning and analysis.
Brisbane South PHN is a not-for-profit organisation funded by the Commonwealth. We are one of 31 Primary Health Networks established across Australia to ensure people receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
