Quality Control Inspector - Precision, Integrity, Impact

We're working with a leading advanced manufacturing organisation that's pushing boundaries in engineering excellence. As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that every component meets the highest standards-supporting innovation, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Your New Role:
* Conduct inspections on incoming components, in-process assemblies, and final products using advanced metrology tools and techniques.
* Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to validate critical dimensions.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
* Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming materials.
* Maintain part traceability and uphold rigorous documentation standards.
* Champion safety, 5S, and LEAN principles to enhance operational efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
* Previous experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Proficiency in CMM operation and metrology equipment.
* Strong understanding of GD&T, ISO 9001 standards, and technical documentation.
* Quality control experience in mechanical components
* Experience in performing First Article Inspections
* Hands-on use of measuring tools like CMM, gauges and basic measuring equipment
* Calibration of measuring equipment
* Experience with non-conformance reports (NCRs) and other quality processes
