Butcher (canning vale)

3A Foods is seeking an experienced Butcher/All Rounder to join our Meat Processing team in Canning vale, WA. There are multiple full time positions available where you will play a key role in the efficient and accurate processing of premium meat products.

• Utilise your expert butchery skills to break down, prepare, and package a wide range of meat products.
• Portion controlled cutting and packaging for customer orders.
• Assist with the operation and maintenance of meat processing equipment.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with the receiving, handling and storage of meat deliveries.
• Participate in team-based tasks and collaborate with colleagues to achieve department goals.

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Butcher or meat processor.
• Sound knowledge & experience of meat cutting techniques, portion control, food safety, and quality control.
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume meat processing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to meet production targets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a protected and hygienic work environment.

Criminal Record check is mandatory.

Certificate III in meat processing or RPL is highly desirable.

Certificate in food safety & White Card will be appreciated.

$74,000 to $78,000/year plus super.

Pay: $74,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
