Job Placement Consultant
At our organization, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Job Placement Consultant to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about employment services and disability employment. As a Job Placement Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting people living with illness, disability, or injury return to work or obtain new employment.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Working collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and internal teams to provide safe and sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce;
* Contribute to injured workers' ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building, and promoting independence;
* Empowering clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment;
* Brokering new employment or work experience opportunities in remote and regional areas to provide swift re-engagement into employment for detached workers;
* Building strong relationships with local employers and organizations;
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A passion for employment services or disability employment;
* Drive, energy, and professionalism, with a personable approach and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, grow services, and build relationships;
* Excellent time management skills, able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment;
* Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willing to obtain);
* Current driver license, road-worthy motor vehicle, and comprehensive insurance; due to location, some travel may be expected.
