Deliver essential clinical support across maternity, paediatrics, NICU, PICU, SCN and paediatric oncology. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team across inpatient wards Great work life balance: Monday to Friday - no weekend work About the Role: As a Locum Social Worker in the Women's and Children's inpatient team, you'll provide essential clinical support across areas such as maternity, paediatrics, NICU, PICU, SCN, and paediatric oncology. Working within a multidisciplinary team, your focus will be on assessing psychosocial needs, discharge planning, crisis support, and liaising with families and services to ensure trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care. Caseloads are allocated based on experience, offering exposure to both acute and sub-acute settings. While this is not a mental health role, experience in hospital discharge planning, child protection, and family violence is highly regarded.
