Your role

Beveridge Williams is currently seeking a motivated Civil Engineering student for an opportunity to join Beveridge Williams in an Internship / Undergraduate Engineering position. This position will be based in the Central Coast office in Tuggerah, where the successful individual will be mentored by Senior Engineers and given supported training and guidance as they work with them on drafting, designing, and delivering significant greenfield residential land development projects.

As an Undergraduate Engineer, you will:

* Participate in assigned projects ensuring appropriate technical skills are being used.
* Supported & mentored to become a well-rounded Civil Engineer, while given opportunities to collaborate with the Town Planning, Landscape Architecture & Surveying teams.
* Under the supervision of an Engineer, use AutoCAD to draft plans & designs for the land development projects.
* Work in a professional, passionate, and supportive team.


About you

Required skills and experience:

* Currently in your 3/4th year of a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
* An Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident or have other eligible working rights.
* Ability to use a range of computer software applications relevant to this role, including MS Office applications and CAD (12D. AutoCAD or Microstation)
* High level of interpersonal, written, and communication skills
* Highly organised with the capacity to manage several competing tasks at once and work to deadlines
* Strong attention to detail in completion of tasks.
