Are you a passionate and experienced educator ready to step into a role where you can lead, inspire, and make a meaningful impact? At Mayfield Early Education Allenstown, we're looking for a dedicated Lead Educator to help shape young minds and support our nurturing, community-focused centre.
Salary: $70,000 - $77,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
Tucked away in a quiet suburban street, our centre is not just a learning space—it's a warm, home-like environment where children feel safe, seen, and celebrated. With natural outdoor play areas, cosy indoor spaces, and a team that feels like family, you'll love coming to work each day.
Why You'll Love Working Here
A Home Away from Home: Our small, welcoming centre features real-grass play areas and thoughtfully designed learning environments that bring calm, joy, and creativity into everyday routines—for both children and educators.
A Team That Feels Like Family: From your first day, you'll be welcomed, supported, and valued. Our buddy and mentoring systems, along with regular Gather and Grow team events, help build strong, lasting connections within our team.
Support + Career Growth: At Mayfield, your development matters. Whether you're refining your leadership skills, studying toward a qualification, or dreaming of an overseas study tour—we'll support you every step of the way.
Inclusive, Diverse & Proud: We celebrate the diversity of our families, children, and team. Inclusive practices and cultural events are woven into our everyday curriculum, creating a sense of true belonging.
About The Role
As a Lead Educator, you'll guide and support your room's educational program and collaborate with your team to deliver high-quality, play-based learning. You'll help foster a warm, stimulating environment where children feel empowered to explore and grow.
Your Role Will Include
Leading curriculum planning and implementation in alignment with the EYLF and NQS.
Mentoring fellow educators and supporting a positive team culture.
Building genuine relationships with families, children, and the wider community.
Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
What You'll Need
A Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Previous experience in an Educator or Lead Educator role.
Confidence in curriculum development and team collaboration.
A current Working with Children Check, First Aid, and CPR.
A caring, flexible approach and a deep passion for early education.
Availability Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 6:00pm.
Why Join Mayfield?
Generous childcare discounts across Mayfield centres.
Ongoing leadership development and career pathways.
Overseas study tours and nationally recognised training.
Sign-on and referral bonuses.
Recognition and rewards programs that value your impact.
If you're ready to take the lead in a role where you're empowered, appreciated, and encouraged to grow, we'd love to welcome you to the Mayfield Allenstown team.
