Kindon State School is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teacher Aide to join our close-knit school community. Working three days per week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30am to 2:30pm), this role supports the delivery of quality teaching and learning by assisting with engaging classroom activities and preparation, under the direction of the Principal and teaching staff. The Perfect Fit
Our Next Teacher Aide Will Have
Formal qualifications in education support (e.g., Certificate or Diploma), or currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Primary (or equivalent).
Demonstrated understanding and experience planning, observing and reporting using on student learning and behaviours.
A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
Excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability, and a growth-focused mindset.
Respect for individual learning needs, community focus and fostering child-centred partnerships.
Your Next Chapter At Kindon State School Will
Support the implementation of the Australian Curriculum in line with departmental priorities and individual student needs.
Assist teachers to plan, resource, and facilitate learning using quality resources.
Interact with children to foster a love of learning through a growth mindset and development of their independent problem-solving.
Prepare and manage learning materials, supervise small-group activities, playground duties, and aid with administrative tasks such as photocopying and resource organisation.
Support positive behaviour management and inclusive classroom environments.
Engage respectfully with families and the community and maintain confidentiality and protocol in line with Education Queensland policies.
