About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented proactive Finance Officer to join our friendly Finance team.
In this key role you will manage the timely and accurate processing of financial entries, invoicing, payment allocations and reconciliations, and will also work closely with other team members on ad-hoc projects and tasks.
This is a great opportunity to further develop your existing skillset.
Your responsibilities will include accounts receivable, cash banking, petty cash, bank reconciliations, and month- and year-end reconciliations.
You will play a vital part in supporting the organisation's cash flow and financial accuracy, contributing to the ongoing sustainability of the Sanctuary.
About You
To be successful in this role you will bring solid experience in accounts receivable or a related finance function, along with a commitment to accuracy and customer service.
You'll be comfortable working with a variety of financial software products and spreadsheets, but most importantly bring a positive can-do attitude.
Proven experience managing invoicing, payment processing and debt collection
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues
Proactive problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Desire to learn new systems and skills with a positive attitude
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Familiarity with accounting software Netsuite will be advantageous
This is a full-time position with standard business hours and occasional flexibility as required.
