Assigns professional services employees to specific client engagement projects with a goal of effectively balancing resource utilization needs with planning targets, skills allocation, actual utilization, and staffing levels.

Develops and manages the tactical and strategic resource plan for an offering or service line.

Incorporates workforce planning and sales support with the overall business plan.

May contribute to strategic planning and large-scale operational deployment.

Works with the consulting management team to identify the type of technical and business resources needed, assembling teams that are qualified to perform the work and financially aligned with the project budget and schedule plans.

Coordinates plans for resource redeployment or retraining with human resources, as needed.

**Working at NTT**

Resource Schedulers support the delivery teams by ensuring that there are adequate and competent human resources available to deliver on all clients’ expectations and contracts.

They are responsible for coordinating activities and resources in support of projects that impact multiple departments, systems/workflows with low-risk complexity, or multiple projects simultaneously with lesser risk or complexity.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Support the delivery teams by ensuring that there are adequate and competent human resources available to deliver on all clients’ expectations and contracts
- Assist with the identification and assignment of resources to multiple projects using internal and external resources
- Assist in ensuring workable project plans according to resource availability and take responsibility for maintaining resource schedules
- Assist with the management of the contractor resource process, from gaining approvals to hire, to engaging contractors into the business
- Contribute to achieving utilization team targets by assisting with the maintenance of resource schedules
- Assist with ensuring demand fulfillment and efficiency gains through effective interaction with internal stakeholders
- Assist with the management of resourcing conflicts and escalations in accordance with project and business priorities
- Maintain invoicing, revenue, cost, utilization, and realization information, ensuring accuracy and timeous communication to the relevant project teams for consideration in project plans

- ** Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:

- Relevant qualification or certification or equivalent related work experience
- Relevant project management certification

**Required Experience**:

- Demonstrated resource scheduling and/or project management experience gained within a technology services environment is preferable
- Demonstrated experience gained within a related business practice
