We are growing and are now looking for a graduate or early-career professional to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to build your skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at the heart of public policy and decision-making.

About the Role

As a Graduate Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team supporting clients across a range of industries and policy areas. You will gain practical, hands-on experience in public affairs, research, campaigns and stakeholder engagement — and you'll contribute directly to high-profile projects that shape public policy and public discourse.Canberra (preferred), Sydney or Melbourne considered.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with experienced consultants and political strategists to support a diverse range of clients. Your day-to-day work will involve:

* Monitoring daily media and political developments and providing timely updates to the team.
* Preparing progress reports and maintaining up-to-date records in our CRM system.
* Coordinating and supporting client meetings, including preparing agendas and distributing meeting outcomes.
* Tracking government consultation processes and parliamentary activity, particularly during sitting weeks.
* Supporting the development of client strategies, briefings, and communications under the guidance of senior team members.
* Preparing background briefs on new clients, industries, and policy areas.
* Contributing to the drafting of client submissions and correspondence.
* Identifying professional development and learning opportunities.
* Attending occasional stakeholder and industry events.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

* A recent or soon-to-be graduate (graduating by end of 2025) in Political Science, Communications, Public Policy, Law, or related fields
* A strong communicator with excellent writing, research and analytical skills
* Politically engaged and genuinely interested in government, policy, and public affairs
* Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with workplace technology (experience with media monitoring tools is a bonus)
* Is curious, proactive, and eager to learn.

Experience in political, government, or advocacy settings is a bonus but not essential.
